From the Residency Education Director
Thank you for your interest in our Psychiatry Residency Program. This website will give you an overview of the opportunities offered by our training program-its challenging diversity, broad range of clinical settings, and advanced diagnostic and treatment approaches.
Philosophically, we promote a well-rounded program that emphasizes all the tools a psychiatric clinician needs. As part of a major university-based medical school, we stress the skills necessary for teaching and research. We also offer fellowships in multiple psychiatric subspecialties.
I invite you to visit the Indiana University Medical Center. It is difficult to explain in a website the rich learning experience and friendly atmosphere we offer that are evident when you visit our facilities and meet our residents, faculty, and staff. We look forward to answering your questions and telling you more about our program and all that the city of Indianapolis has to offer.
