| Personal Statement | I am interested in clinical research involving persons with fragile X syndrome (FXS). FXS is the most common inherited form of developmental disability and most common known cause of autism. Our FXS clinic draws patients from throughout the Midwest. Currently, our clinic is involved in multiple FXS-specific therapeutic treatment trials. I staff several resident and fellow clinics per week and regularly give lectures related to developmental disorders to medical students, residents, and fellows. |
