|Personal Statement||My professional career in psychiatry now extends over a period of four decades and has revolved around direct clinical care of patients, research, medical education, and psychiatric administration. I have been on the staff of the IU department of psychiatry since 1972. My own junior clerkship in psychiatry was in 1970 at Wishard Hospital and now ironically I am medical director of the Midtown Mental Health Center and chief of psychiatric services at Wishard Hospital.|
