Personal Statement  I have always had interest in disruptive behavior disorders and how that impacts a youth’s ability to function at home.  Utilizing a team approach that solves multifaceted problems is essential for maintaining children in their homes, and I look forward to clinically encouraging these processes within our state.

Undergraduate: BA in Biology, Minor Chemistry/East. European Studies, Indiana University           

Medical School: Indiana University School of Medicine

Residency: Triple Board, Indiana University School of Medicine

Board Certificatoins/Certifications: Pediatrics

Current Academic Interests 

Teaching: Involved in teaching medical students, residents, and child fellows at LaRue Carter hospital as well as Riley Outpatient Center.  Currently a preceptor for ICM-I for MS1 students and provide MS3 students with lectures on depression during their Pediatric Clerkship.

Clinical: Provides psychiatric care for the Adolescent Boys unit at LaRue Carter State Hospital, as well as pediatric care to the Youth Services division. Sees pediatric primary care patients in the Riley MSA1 clinic as well.

Research: No current research.
