Melissa Butler, Ph.D.

Personal Statement: I am a child and adolescent focused clinical psychologist and have spent the majority of my career working with troubled adolescents.  I specialize in treating adolescent self-harm and suicidal behavior and have worked with troubled adolescents across a variety of settings including private practice, juvenile corrections, and a state psychiatric hospital.

                                    Internship: Indiana University School of Medicine

 

Board Certifications/Certifications: HSPP; Certificate of Professional Qualification in Psychology

 

Current Academic Interests:           

Teaching: I am involved in teaching medical students, psychiatry residents, practicum students, and psychology interns.

Clinical: I am the Staff Psychologist for the adolescent girls’ unit at Larue Carter Hospital.
