Psychotic Disorders

The Indiana University Department of Psychiatry, Neuro-Clinical Research Center (NCRC) in collaboration with The Indiana University Center for Clinical and Cognitive Neuroscience (CCCN), located at Larue D. Carter Memorial Hospital conduct research into the behavioral, cognitive, neurobiological, and genetic factors associated with severe mental illnesses such as schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.   These efforts are funded through grants from the National Institute of Mental Health and through productive partnerships with the pharmaceutical industry.         

A major priority of the both centers is to foster the conduct of research that will lead to improvements in the lives of persons living with severe mental illnesses, and their family members and friends.
